Consequences of cancer and its treatment

Please find this content here.

Improvements in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer mean that more people are living longer after a cancer diagnosis, but not everyone is living well.

Cancer treatment is often invasive and can have both short and longer term consequences. Failure to identify and manage these problems effectively can compromise survival, recovery and quality of life.

We have worked in partnership with health professionals to develop the following practical guidance to help you support patients who are experiencing consequences of their cancer and its treatment. These resources are available for you to download and order for free.

Patient Resources

We also produce a range of patient information on the effects of treatment. Please direct people to the information that is most relevant to them.
