Helping your patients find their way

Additional support for your patients

Like you, our aim is to support people from the point of diagnosis, throughout their treatment and increasingly, on the way back to health. We have a free range of services that are accessible across the UK by anyone affected by cancer.

Information resources

Our cancer information nurses and other experts have developed a range of booklets that you can give to your patients, their families and carers to support them during an extremely tough time.

Our range of over 500 information booklets are certified by the Information Standard and cover all kinds of things that your patients might find helpful. Like diagnostic tests, treatment options, benefits and financial support available and how to adjust to life after cancer.

To order free information booklets, please sign in on the right hand side of this page.

Emotional, practical and financial support

Macmillan teams at our information and support centres and on the Macmillan Support Line are also here to help the people you support if they have any questions or need someone to talk to in between appointments.

Make the most of us

Macmillan also offers a range of useful tools designed for health and social care professionals supporting people affected by cancer.  These include learning and development resources, e-courses and tools to help you in your daily work. Find out more
