FAQs: Business cards

1. I am a Macmillan professional, but have been told I can’t access the business card portal.
If you are a registered Macmillan professional and are told that you are unable to access our business card portal, there may be a problem with the status of your be.Macmillan account. Please e-mail be.mac@macmillan.org.uk so that we can look into this for you.

While we are happy to facilitate any changes to your account (in order to expedite your access to the business card portal) we would request that you ask your Macmillan Partnership Quality Lead to upload your information onto the Macmillan Professionals Database as soon as it is convenient for them to do so. Unfortunately we cannot advise on who your Macmillan Partnership Quality Lead might be.

2. I can’t log into the business card portal.
Please note that the business card portal has a separate account system from the be.Macmillan website. If you are accessing the portal for the first time, you will need to create a separate account through the business card portal.

3. I’ve not yet received confirmation that I can access the business card portal.
Most registrations onto the business card portal are approved within a couple of working days. Should you still not have received confirmation that your account has been approved, please try logging in again. Should you still be unable to log in, please e-mail be.mac@macmillan.org.uk so that we can look into this for you.

4. I would like to amend a business card order.
We are unfortunately unable to amend any business card orders once they have been approved.

Should you notice an error in your cards once they have been approved, we may as an alternative be able to cancel your order, so that you can submit an amended design. Please e-mail be.mac@macmillan.org.uk to request this.

5. I am having trouble getting my logos to display well on my business cards.
Most logos will look best when the image used is cropped tightly around the logo itself, and when using one of our “horizontal logo” templates for your business card.

Should you have any trouble cropping your image, please do feel free to send this to be.mac@macmillan.org.uk so that we can do this for you.

6. My logo is not displaying at all!
If you are having problems getting your logo to display correctly at all, this is likely caused by the file type of the image you have used – the business card portal will not accept images saved in the “PNG” format.

Should you have any trouble saving your image as a “JPEG”, please do feel free to send this to be.mac@macmillan.org.uk so that we can do this for you.

7. Is the Macmillan Cancer Support logo included on the business cards?
All our business cards feature the current Macmillan Cancer Support logo on their reverse. If you'd like to include an our logo on the front of your business cards, please e-mail be.mac@macmillan.org.uk to request a copy of this.
