We have always been well placed to lead opinion in the field of cancer care. Our experience of dealing with people affected by cancer on a day-to-day basis gives us authority and credibility.

We need to become more assertive. We need to express our point of view strongly. A report to government, for example, ought to be able to make recommendations as well as state the facts.
