Get people involved
The most important part of creating a movement is getting
people
involved. People need to be able to engage with, and become part
of Macmillan on lots of different levels – from showing their support,
to using our services, to working as a Macmillan professional.
There is no one way of ‘being’ Macmillan – here are some
activities
and ideas for how people could be encouraged to show they’re
taking part.
– by wearing a green pin – safety pins have
an everyday,
practical appeal.
– by wearing silhouette badges
– by wearing a t-shirt
Our communications to supporters feel immediate, newsy and
action-orientated rather than slick, glossy and corporate.
