Dos and don’ts – basic elements
This page shows what to do (and what not to do) with
the basic elements of the Macmillan identity. It is mainly a matter of common sense.
Do reproduce our logo in any of our three greens. |
Do turn our logo on its side or use it as big as is practical. |
Do reverse our logo out of our three greens (or other dark colours where necessary) as long as the logo is clearly legible. |
Always use the correct colour specifications. |
Don’t take any of the words away from our logo. It always appears in full. |
Don’t use any typefaces other than Macmillan Headline, Futura and Arial. |
Don’t use Macmillan headline typeface for detailed information. |
The outline of the original image is the only part that should be visible in a silhouette. Don’t keep any of the other detail. |
Pick images to be made into silhouettes carefully. Do not choose an image which is too complicated or abstract for a silhouette. |
Don’t use cut-out images. |
